Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Days
This activity includes the appropriate protective measures to ensure your safety. In addition, our excursions are carried out in the open air and in small groups to reduce the risk of contagion. Remember to follow the instructions of the staff during the development of the tour.
The Sacred Valley Two Day Tour is one of the most preferred routes for travelers visiting Machu Picchu. It is one of the best options because on the way to Machu Picchu you will be able to appreciate a visit to different archaeological zones of the Sacred Valley: Pisac and the fortress of ollantaytambo then we will take the train to the town of Machu Picchu
The second day we will visit Machu Picchu, we will make a 2 hours guided tour in the citadel of Machu Picchu and then we will have free time to take the necessary photos, and then we will take the bus back to Machu Picchu town to have lunch and then take the train back to ollantaytambo, where the private transportation is waiting for us to transfer us to Cusco and leave us near our accommodation in Cusco. day 2: GUIDED TOUR IN MACHU PICCHU AND RETURN TO CUSCO
The next day we will have to get up early to ascend to Machu Picchu, we will have breakfast at the lodging and at an indicated time the guide will pick us up to go together with the rest of the group to the bus stop, ( normally the wait is 20 minutes to take the bus) that will take us to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu (the time to pick up the lodging and the time to enter Machu Picchu depends on the availability of tickets so we recommend you to book in advance to be one of the first to take the first turns).
Once you arrive to Machu Picchu we will start to resort to a professional guide of the around 2 hours it takes where I do not know how to explain the important points of Machu Picchu and you will have time to enjoy the place and to make photographs, the guided visit will continue crossing the different zones from the sanctuary the guide will explain you in detail all that you know about Machu Picchu and the Inca culture.
At the end of the guided tour the guide will say goodbye to the group and you will have free time to walk on your own in Machu Picchu, until you decide to take the bus down to Machu Picchu town as where you can eat in one of the many restaurants on your own and take the train to ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo station the driver will be waiting for us to take us to Cusco and drop us off near your hotel, arriving around 8:30 p.m. (Arrival time may vary depending on train schedule availability or other occasion, so we recommend not taking any transportation or flight to another location for that same time)
