I will have problems with altitude sickness on this trip?

Altitude sickness can catch any hiker off guard; Not everyone gets sick from altitude sickness and it is quite difficult to predict who is more likely to suffer from it. For most people, it does not become more than a headache and a feeling of vertigo that decreases in a short time, 1 or 2 days for most people. However, if you want to avoid altitude sickness, there are certain things you can do, such as not flying directly to high places; see little by little, so that your body slowly acclimates to the height.
The problem is that many people do not have that possibility, so it is also recommended to drink plenty of water and take it easy; These things may sound simple, but they are very important. Your body makes an effort for lack of oxygen, so you should not do any very strenuous activity.
Likewise, it is also recommended to chew coca leaves; Natives of South America have chewed these leaves for centuries for their ability to relieve the symptoms of altitude sickness. Coca leaves can be purchased at any supermarket, store or street stall, it is also recommended to take the pills for soroche, these are sold throughout Peru and Bolivia, they are only a couple of dollars. If the flight is direct to an area with more than 2500 meters, with no opportunity to acclimatize, and you have some concern with getting sick, you can always ask your personal doctor about some stronger medication for altitude sickness to be forewarned.
If your symptoms are more serious than a simple headache and a slight feeling of vertigo, you should lower the height and seek medical help.

How long is the trip in four-wheel drive?
